Ping Latency = = Round Trip Time
latency obtained on networks: EDGE - between 235m and 362m Orange
- Orange 3G between 128ms and 140 ms
- HSDPA Orange between 94ms and 106m
gain between 3G and HSDPA is not doubled as Orange announced.
The latency is not reduced by half because the 3G is not ping of 200ms but less than 180ms and usually less than 140ms. The difference is significatife cons between 3G/3G + and EDGE.
