categories of HSDPA mobile phones, USB modem and PC Card HSDPA

The HSDPA theoretical speeds depend on the category of equipment you use and the operator has deployed. They can reach a theoretical maximum of 14.4 Mbps
categories will be used in the first category 12 then Category 6.
This should normally be deployed in France in 2007 by 3 operators.
None of them has so far officially confirmed ...

Actresses Who Have Shown Their Breasts

What Is EDGE, 3G, HSDPA, GPRS ...

Definitions and brief explanations
1G: Analog phones (most used at present)

2G: GSM (9.6 kbps) Global System for Mobile Communications .
European digital standard using frequencies of 900 and 1800 MHz.
GSM is the leading mobile system users.

2.5G: GPRS (40-56 kbps) Global Packet Radio Service.
Evolution of GSM mobile phone standard that enables data transfers packages, as on the Internet.

2.75G: EDGE (100 to 247 kbit / s) Acronym for Enhanced Data GSM Environment.
Evolution of GPRS mobile telephony standard, it offers a maximum throughput of 247 kbps, which enables mobile TV but not the video.

3G: UMTS (DL: 144 to 384 kbit / s & UP: 128Kbit / s) Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS)
system called 3G operators. It is based on W-CDMA. (Peaks at 2Mbit / s in very specific conditions). Allows in addition to EDGE and a video flow a little more important.

3.5G: HSDPA (DL: 900 kbit / s to 14.4 Mbit / s & UL: 384kbit / s) High Speed Downlink Packet Access.
Evolution of 3G also called 3G +
Speaking "technical", there are two modules for HSDPA QPSK: that used by Orange and SFR in 2006 to 1.8 Mbit / s theoretical (for a single user on a base station: this is never the case !!!). It's HSDPA 16QAM 12modulation category: that should be used in late 2007, allowing theoretical speeds of 3.6 Mbps. HSDPA is the Category 5 or 6.

The publication dates of the tests are real.

Following a question by email, no, I'm lab'Orange not a tester. At least not yet! I hope to be. They denied me

I'll still raise my application, I feel like it a lot! And as they continue to recruit: Wait & see

Birthday Invitation Requesting Money

latency achieved on EDGE, 3G and HSDPA Orange Orange 3G

Ping Latency = = Round Trip Time

latency obtained on networks: EDGE
  • between 235m and 362m Orange
  • Orange 3G between 128ms and 140 ms
  • HSDPA Orange between 94ms and 106m

gain between 3G and HSDPA is not doubled as Orange announced.
The latency is not reduced by half because the 3G is not ping of 200ms but less than 180ms and usually less than 140ms. The difference is significatife cons between 3G/3G + and EDGE.

Objectives late 2006 (and 2009)

In its press kit October 2004 (Dossier_de_presse_RENNES_01_octobre) Orange planned to wait 65% of the French population in 2006 (so as SFR) and 90% in late 2009 (may be with the UMTS frequencies in 900MHz). late 2008 according to a recent PC (press release) Orange announced able to cover 70% of the population (70% for SFR in late 2007!)

Excerpt from
press kit October 2004:
"The goal is to reach the Orange UMTS coverage of 33% of the population before the end of 2004 and 65% in 2006. In 2009, Orange will offer 3G services 90% of the French population. "

"
Beyond this first phase of deployment, 3G coverage will be expanded in coming years. More specifically, operators have pledged to cover 70% of the population, before the end of 2007 for SFR and the end of 2008 for Orange France. "

Hp Wireless Mouse Use Without Dongle

future developments of 3G HSDPA

Well one 3G coverage prediction: That of SFR (60%) is better than Orange (58%) and it will remain until at least 2008. According
releases of both operators and ARCEP, SFR will cover 70% of the population in late 2007 and Orange will cover the 70% at the end of 2008!

Well bravo to SFR because they have been the first to open 3G in France, the first to launch 3G + (HSDPA or Super 3G or 3.5G) in May 2006 and until today and apparently 'the best coverage in 2008! And WiMAX licenses to 2 SFR in France (and also the two most important: (IDF and PACA), while Orange has none (only in the overseas territories)

Why I am Orange subscriber me?? Lol
