Memory AECQ on euthanasia and assisted suicide

Thursday, September 30, the Assembly of Bishops of Quebec (AECQ) presented a memorial of twelve pages on euthanasia and assisted suicide to the Special Commission on the issue to die dignity. "Our company has no incentive to change Canadian law that prohibits euthanasia and assisted suicide. We have even less reason than before to consider. "This is the point of view that supports the Assembly of Quebec Catholic Bishops in the memory. The main arguments usually put forward to claim the possibility of euthanasia are discussed one by one. The bishops argue that "the means currently available analgesic medicine and especially assisting patients are the true paths of compassion and dignity." AECQ a rousing call to solidarity with those most vulnerable in society. The full submission is available on their website at address http://www.eveques.qc.ca/
